Urbanimal habitat exists primarily in three types of areas: 1- when topography and development create steep areas that have limited human access and development potential. 2- major transportation arteries or rivers crisscross the urban grids leaving irregular and impractical areas for human development. and/or 3- in pockets within some human residential developments along fencelines and behind garages.
